This exceptional Japanese whetstone was imported directly from Japan and thoroughly tested by us.

It measures 100 mm (3.94 in) long × 80 mm (3.15 in) wide × 30 mm (1.18 in) tall, and weighs 496 g (17.50 oz / 1.09 lb).

Hardness: 4.5Beautiful Nakayama Asagi Kan Maruichi. Perfect for razors and Kamisori and marketed originally to the Japanese Barber industry. Maruichi was a shop in Japan which supplied beauty supplies to barbers in the region and beyond. They selected the many stones from different mines but mainly marketed Hon Narutaki, Nakayama, and Shobudani for Kamisori and straight razors. This stone is an Old stock, Vintage, BNIB piece which was stored from the shop\'s vast left over inventory. This beautiful razor koppa possesses a vivid Mizu Asagi blue base with prevalent, orange ring patterns covering a majority of stones surface. This super hard Shiki Tomae is perfect for Mikawa nagura progressions and standalone finishing for razors and Kamisori.
