HOT ! Santo Blend - 20oz

Santo, Maru’s house espresso blend, is full-bodied and well-balanced, with mild acidity and notes of dark chocolate, sweet citrus, and hazelnut. This medium-dark roast combines our favorite attributes of classic flavor profiles from Colombia and Guatemala, and has been carefully crafted to taste especially good with milk. It’s also excellent on its own for those looking for a darker, less acidic, and more chocolate or caramel-forward alternative to our light roasts.

We recommend allowing espresso to age for at least 9 days from the roast date for optimal flavor and extraction. We think San-to tastes best with a classic espresso brew ratio of one part ground coffee to one and a half parts liquid espresso, for instance: 22g of ground coffee in the basket to 33g of espresso in the cup, with a shot time of about 30 seconds.
