Detailed information on Regenerative Future Collection

Explore the heart of coffee-growing traditions from Colombia and Panama with our Regenerative Future Collection, a celebration of craftsmanship, heritage, and sustainable farming. This special three-pack (10oz per pack) features single-origin coffees from three remarkable farmers, each with a unique story and deep connection to the land.

  • Javier Gasca - Biochar (Colombia) - Javier has farmed coffee for over 30 years in El Naranjal, in southern Huila, Colombia. On his two-hectare farm, El Limón (1,450–1,600 m.a.s.l.), he grows Colombia, Cenicafé 1, and Castillo Tambo. Coffee farming is a family tradition and his life’s work, with harvest still centered on hand-selecting ripe cherries. He uses a washed process with 24-hour fermentation and slow sun-drying in a marquesina. With a focus on quality and sustainability, Javier practices low-intervention farming and recently joined the Biochar Program, improving soil health, resilience, and environmental impact.

  • Fanny Velandia (Colombia) – Fanny Velandia and her family moved to the small town of Cachipay, Colombia, nearly a decade ago, where they began managing a small coffee farm as a way to support themselves and connect with their new community. Over time, that unexpected opportunity grew into a full-time passion. At their farm, San Bernardo—planted with Castillo, Colombia, and Pink Bourbon varieties—Fanny, her husband, and their children now oversee everything from cultivation to roasting, with a focus on quality and care at every step.  Farming at 1600 meters above sea level, the family tends their land with intention—composting, collecting rainwater, and growing a mix of fruit trees alongside coffee to keep the farm diverse and healthy. The result is a coffee that reflects years of steady work, thoughtful decisions, and a deep connection to place.

  • El Diamante (Guatemala) Flobrecio Villatoro farms coffee in the highlands of

Huehuetenango, Guatemala, at his farm El Diamante (1,750–1,840 masl). Raised in a family of respected producers, he began with a small plot from his father and has grown El Diamante into a quality-recognized farm through resilience and dedication. Today, he works alongside his wife Lesvia and their children.

This fully washed lot blends Bourbon and Caturra, offering white grape and apricot notes with soft honey sweetness and a clean, expressive finish. El Diamante reflects decades of learning, family collaboration, and a deep commitment to the land and community.

In addition, 3% of Futura’s sales are dedicated to supporting regenerative agriculture projects in Colombia through our sister brand, Biodiversal. We\'ve contributed to bean and cassava harvests for over 50 coffee-growing families in Tolima and Cundinamarca and supported Biochar initiatives benefiting more than 70 families in Pitalito, Huila.

Discover the depth of flavor and heritage behind each cup. Experience the dedication of these farmers, who are not only growing extraordinary coffee but also creating a sustainable future for their communities.
