Lovely, solid wood, children\'s chair salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. The chair is made of solid oak wood and has a light-stained finish. It is very well-built and is quite heavy.

This piece was hand-crafted by a local, master carpenter. He died a few years ago, and left behind a sizeable collection of unique, high-quality chairs and tables that he built exclusively using oak. We have other pieces from his collection for sale in our store.

Our carpenter inspected the chair from top to bottom, and didn\'t need to make any repairs or tighten anything as the chair is strong and sturdy. He said that, \"it\'s built like a rock,\" and \"looks like it was used more for decoration than sitting\" because of it\'s amazing condition.

Expect nicks and light scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp. This chair is ready for another lifetime of service.
