Its hollow ground knife is made from a hard chromed alloy to increase its longevity and make it easier to sharpen. This blade easily slices 0 to 9/16\" thick meat, fruits, and vegetables. It has an extended rod and chute to accommodate products of various sizes, including items up to 10.5\" long. Its pyramid-shaped end teeth improve product hold, preventing items from sliding out during the slicing process. It has a large product receiving area and its stainless steel ball-bearing chute ensures a smooth sliding movement.

This G12 Food Slicer has an anodized aluminum construction. It has an ergonomically designed, dual-purpose handle and non-slip rubber feet. Its knife has a cover interlock which is both easy to install and remove. It has a permanently attached knife ring guard and a sealed splash zone.
