This year, we\'re going to do a little something different and honor and uplift Black history in the making - presently and for our future. One of those remarkable individuals is artist Hadiya Williams, creator and founder of Black Pepper Paperie Co (BPP) @blackpepperpaperieco . This year I am pleased and honored to announce a joint collaboration between Black Pepper Paperie and The Rooted Baby Co! With over 15 years experience in graphic design, Hadiya founded Black Pepper Paperie Co. in 2017 and has since expanded her art + design practice to include ceramic objects, surface design, and visual art. Her work is inspired by the relationship between history, cultural memory, migration, and ritual. Hadiya states, \'The lineal artwork of Black Pepper Paperie Co. is inspired by the relationship between Black people, history, memory, ritual, and culture across the diaspora.\'  BPP\'s core values and the mission of Rooted Baby Co\'s inspiration from history, respecting culture, and to educate are the perfect match to be utilized for the littlest members of our future generation.Made with the same super soft and lightweight material as our staple swaddles, these are elevated with custom designs from Hadiya. After months of planning and work behind the scenes, I could not be more ecstatic with how this collaboration came to fruition!
