About fushun amber

This amber is from China Fushun region.It is a fossil formed about 40 million years ago, its characteristic is that colors such as black and red are mixed to create various patterns. It is rarer than common amber.In Japan, Buddhists use Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.
