It is a fragrance that takes you on a journey through the world of Astier.
This incense is made using traditional techniques passed down on the island of Awaji in Japan.
From the smoke swirls,
The air exudes a delicate scent of driftwood, resin, jasmine and dried flowers.
Legend has it that one day,
When the islanders burned the trunk of an agarwood tree that had washed up on the shore,
The intoxicating scent was so wonderful,
They decided to present it to the Emperor and later had a monument erected.
These incense sticks are handmade in Japan by a Kohshi (incense maker) from Awaji Island.
[How to use]
14cm long, small box of 125 sticks. Each stick lasts for about 30 minutes.
Place it in an incense holder.
Or place it in a bowl filled with sand or incense beads.
