The incense is presented in a clam shell container, as was customary in classical Japan.
Ideal for use as subtle warming incense in the tea ceremony hearth or for kūdaki (gentle, non-burning fragrance diffusion).
Inspired by The Tale of Genji, Chapter 32, “Umegae.”
