Earthenware was chosen for its rustic and artisanal character, which gives body and life to the brand\'s iconic oval. Entirely handmade, each candle is presented in a signature hat box, perfect to present as a gift.

An exceptional artisanal creation, your Diptyque candle deserves the utmost care. Here are a few tips to optimize its lifespan and to help you enjoy it safely.Prepare your space- Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.- Protect delicate materials such as wood or marble with a stand or tray.- Keep candles away from flammable materials.- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.- Choose a sufficiently large space or burn outside.Light the candle- We recommend lighting your candle with a match to avoid any risk of burning yourself.- During the first burn, make sure to let the candle burn until a uniform pool of melted wax has formed (about 4 hours depending on the scent). This prevents the wax from tunneling and allows the wicks to absorb the wax properly, ensuring an even burn thereafter. Wicks may produce a small amount of smoke when first lit.While burning- Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time after the first burn.- Never leave a burning candle unattended.- Do not move a burning or unlit hot candle.- Keep it away from draft.- Leave at least 10 cm (4 inches) between two candles.After each use- Snuff out the flames: use a snuffer to avoid splashing hot wax.- Re-center the wicks once the candle is out.- Before relighting your candle, use a wick trimmer to trim the wick (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm) to avoid risk of fire.Final note- Stop using your candle once there is only 5 mm of wax left or the metal wick sustainer base becomes visible.After care & storage- We recommend airing out the room after burning a candle.- Allow the wax to cool completely before moving your candle.- Store it in a dry, temperate place (15 °C–25 °C / 59 °F–77 °F), away from direct sunlight to avoid discoloration, pigmentation or dislodge of the wax.
