HOT ! Fluco Dublin Horween Leather Watch Strap - Cognac

Of the many tanneries in the world, only a few have earned a reputation for being the best. At the top of that short list is the Horween Leather Company, established in Chicago in 1905. Ulrich Fleischmann personally toured the Horween tannery and spent some time with Nick Horween himself, discussing all of the beautiful things that can be made from leather. Fleischmann was deeply impressed by the experience, and the two companies have now been partnering for years to produce beautiful watch straps from various types of Horween leather.

Handmade in Germany using vegetable-tanned cowhide leather from the Horween tannery, Fluco\'s Dublin strap is treated with the same traditional tanning extracts (characterized by a high proportion of oil) used on their Horween shell cordovan straps. Marks and tonal variations lend a vintage appeal to the leather (see photos), which will age naturally and beautifully over time. Due to the different ways the oils and waxes affect vegetable-tanned leather, each strap is slightly different in color and finish.
