Richard III is an armchair with a fully molded frame painted in matt black. The removable cover is available in fabric, leather or eco-leather in different colours, or can be customised.
An highly symbolic armchair, recalling and reinterpreting the essence of bourgeois décor. Richard III is inspired by the sight of old club chairs abandoned on the street, to which Philippe Starck decided to give new life, modernizing them and transforming them into evergreen objects. Created with the interiors of the President\'s private apartment in the Élysée Palace in mind, the Richard III became François Mitterrand\'s favorite armchair.
