HOT ! Mahogany Bench by Tanglewood Customs

This Beautiful bench seat is more of a work of art then anything else, but it is certainly a great piece of furniture too.  At first glance this piece may appear to be upholstered and tufted leather, however the seat is carved of solid Sapele Mahogany Hardwood with hand-turned White Oak legs.  This piece was designed and build in the Tanglewood Customs workshop, and is intended to be a playfully different take on what is possible with wood.  Every now and then we like to explore different concepts and ideas to help share our passion for the craft.  We are not simply woodworkers, we are problem solvers, we are designers, we are artists and sculptors,  we are people who find inspiration in the works of others, and we love nothing more than sharing and inspiring other people with our work.
