...a beautiful, small seahorse pendant carved in woolly mammoth.

The seahorse, or Hippocampus, has a long held place in mythology and can be seen on coins and other ancient artefacts as early as the 6th century BC.

This seahorse pendant is beautifully carved with lots of detail - and it\'s a smaller version of our POSEIDON pendant.

We had our mammoth material carbon dated to get an accurate measure of its age. The testing was done for us by GNS Science, a New Zealand Crown Research Institute and New Zealand\'s leading provider of Earth, geoscience and isotope research - so their assessment of this material is as accurate as is possible using radiocarbon dating technology.  

This little piece really captures the essence of these delicate sea creatures.

We will provide this with a cord which is length adjustable so that you can position the pendant where it suits you best.
