HOT ! Garut 2022 : West Java Pure Artisan Vetiver Essential Oil

Jungle : Garut, West JavaClass : WildDistillation : Stainless, Custom ArtisanWanted to have some fun, so I commissioned a batch of wild Vetiver through a small artisan distillation operation we are friendly with in West Java. **To be clear - this is a pure West Javanese Vetiver Oil 💪🏼It takes around 800kg of Vetiver Roots to produce a single kilogram of Oil. That’s a LOT of backbreaking digging and a LOT of beating dirt off of roots. But man ... it was worth it ! really makes ya appreciate the work that goes in to making natural products. Most Vetiver you’ll find on the market has a very clean, crisp, earthy/rooty - deep richness. That’s all well and good - but I wanted a little somethin’ somethin’ different. 2022 Garut is almost Oudy. Opening with a milky smokiness that really does make me think Oud more than Vetiver. For quite some time it almost tricks my brain, before rounding to something more reminiscent of Vetiver that my nose recognizes. If you like something a little more unique than what you’ll find elsewhere - produced with an artisan’s touch - I think you’ll love this batch of 2020 Garut !Materials: West Java Vetiver,Gurat Vetiver Oil
