The Standing Desk can be assembled into 3 recommended configurations (small, medium, large) by rearranging the two vertical panels and the shelf.

Quality materials that last a lifetime

The wood panels are made from 13 layers of kiln-dried, sustainably-harvested birch, which is then laminated with maple or walnut veneers, making them incredibly strong, stable, and beautiful.  The layers are held together with soy-based glue (not some scary formaldehyde-based glue) resulting in the highest quality, wood you can buy. 

About Modos

Modos was started by two guys in Brooklyn who were frustrated with most of the furniture on the market. Much of the ready to assemble furniture on the market today are made to look simple to assemble but is actually challenging.  When moving into a new home, furniture is often thrown away and replaced because it doesn\'t withstand the move or doesn\'t fit into the new space. 

The founders of Modos thought there must a better option, which is why they invented Modos, user-friendly furniture that assembles without tools and can be reconfigured into a different shape each time a move occurs. Modos is a high-quality and sustainable product for a reasonable price that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Made in the USA, designed in Brooklyn

We\'re proud to say that Modos is made in the USA. Our connectors are manufactured in the Southeast. The wood boards start in North Carolina and are finished at our offices in the Brooklyn Navy Yards in Brooklyn, New York. Modos is a member of New Lab, an interdisciplinary space designed to support entrepreneurs.
