Add drama to your dining room with our Glenbow rectangle pedestal dining table. There are so many reasons to love this table, starting with the fluted wood pedestal base. The fluting detail gives the table a strong presence in the space. And as a pedestal table, it is easy to seat people around it. The detailing on the base makes this a table that elevates your dining room.

With pedestal dining tables, the trick is to get the size of the pedestal right. You want enough clearance from the edge of the table to the base for chairs and for guests. At the same time, you want the table overall to be stable. While adding weight to a smaller base can help provide stability, getting the proportions right is the key. We recommend this Como base on tables that are at least 42\" wide. Also note that the corners on this base will be slightly rounded. Other design details include a 6/4\" thick table top with a traditional square Seymour edge or Boyer edge if the corner is rounded.

• Solid wood will expand and contract in different climates


• Most of our walnut has sap wood, which introduces some variance in color into the wood
