HOT ! Fundy Square

A square wood dining table is not only dramatic but is also great for facilitating conversation. Because square dining tables are less common than rectangular ones, they tend to grab attention in a space. In addition, because guests can all easily see each other, conversation tends to flow well around a square table. This particular Fundy design channels a mid century modern aesthetic.

This style is well suited to tables that are 60\" or larger. For seating at this table, we would recommend 2 people on the sides and 1 on the ends to allow you to use the corners well without having guests feel cramped for space. For this table we use 4 of our Caldwell legs to create a pedestal that is visually light but strong enough to provide stability. Other design details include a 6/4\" thick table top with a bevelled Finlay edge.

All of our tables are made from solid hardwood. As a natural product, each piece of wood has its own uniqueness.

• Natural wood has variation in the grain.


• Solid wood will expand and contract in different climates


• Most of our walnut has sap wood, which introduces some variance in color into the wood
