Detailed information on DOUBLETIME

These original Vietnam War ammunition crates housed 2 cartridges of 105mm shells. This unique Howitzer piece has been retrofitted to house up to four upright 750ml-1.75 liter bottles and two 750ml wine bottles. The crate is designed to hang horizontally and the versatile design allows you to display items other than bottles on the left side of the crate.

SPECS: The ammunition crate housed 2 cartridges of 105mm shells with a Point Detonating M-557 fuze that was used with the Howitzer Cannon, M2A1, M2A2 & M40. The crate weighed approx. 111 lbs. during its service period.
