The design features a horseshoe-shaped lens frame, inspired by antique eyewear from the 19th century. The original design, where the temples are straight and the nose bridge is rounded, has been intentionally reversed and reimagined with a modern twist. The result is a fresh, contemporary take on a vintage style.

This collection, which is not based on an actual historical eyewear design, was created by the designer Takagi from the men\'s apparel brand OLD JOE and Okada from GLOBE SPECS, who collaborated to bring to life a design that reflects the sentiment of \"I wish this vintage eyewear had existed.\" The brand name, read in Japanese as \"OLD JOE GLOBE SPECS OPTICAL CO.,\" is inspired by the fictional company that would have once made such eyewear.

The eyewear comes in two color options: gold and silver. Both colors feature a vintage-aged metal finish, similar to the STEINBERG collection.
