HOT ! 4x5 Vintage Rug / 4’ x 5’2 Worn Antique Shiraz Rug #1632

From the south of Persia, this Shiraz Yalemeh rug was woven circa 1880. It has a wool pile and a wool foundation, with earthy tones and a nice, floppy handle. It’s wool was naturally dyed with vegetables, roots and plant sources.

Low pile, naturally distressed through time. Great size that is not as often woven!
