The EU has updated the EN STANDARD for duvets for young children, meaning, for example, that a baby duvet for indoor use cannot have a TOG value higher than TOG 4. TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade. The higher the TOG value, the higher the insulation level and the less heat escapes through the duvet. The lower the TOG value, the lower the insulation level and the more heat escapes. The TOG value measures the insulation of both the down/feathers, fabric, and other layers in the duvet.
