HOT ! 30s/40s Rare Hawaiin Pin Up Swimsuit By 40s Swimwear

What a beauty! This is a very rare find in well cared for antique condition. 40s Pin Up Swim / Play with full zip back, elastic thighs and side smocking. The smocking on the side where bust and hips are is still holding but the waist area is gone and the thighs are still there but some stretch. Other than the issues noted this was well preserved. I know smocking can be hard to find someone to repair but not impossible. I also personally have just had a seamstress take in my waist to fit. Due to rare find but minor issues I have priced accordingly.

There is no tag so unsure of sizing but this was pretty heavily pinned on the 5\'8 34 x 25 x 33\" model so I would venture a larger size.

Swimwear is hard to measure exact but these measurements should be within a half inch or so.

It is a shelf style bodice and is a smaller suit with some give due to the smocked panels. And button to adjust on strap.

Bust was taken flat back from pit to pit and this will not consider the cupping in front or stretch from smocking. The bust, waist and hips need to be doubled for full measurements. The length is taken front and back and from center crotch to top of suit without straps.

Bust -15. 5\" plus with smocking

Waist - 17\" due to smocking failure in this area

Hips - 18\" - apx 21\" due to smocking

Full length from mid crotch to top of bodice - 23\"

Crotch to waist - Front - 18\" Back- 14\"

Waist to top of suit ( not including straps) - Front - 9. 5\" Back - 7. 5\"

Thighs ( not the elastic part but outer so max of size and needs to be doubled ) - 10\" to APX 12\"
