Inspired by our 1960s classic collections, the Urban Classic is YEMA’s interpretation of the ultimate French neo-vintage dress watch. Equipped with our automatic In-house Caliber YEMA2000, the Urban Classic case measures just 9mm in thickness, features an elegant 37,5mm ‘step case’ and a circular brushed dial with applied markers and leaf hands. 

VINTAGE INSPIRED DIAL

The Urban Classic dial features a charming circular brushed surface finish with faceted, polished applied markers, in perfect harmony with the hour and minute polished leaf hands. The applied YEMA logo raises discretely and elegantly from the dial surface while the double dome hesalite crystal adds neo-vintage charm and a gentle look that isn’t present on most modern watches.

HISTORIC CASE-BACK

The great level of detail and finishes overall is also found on the steel case-back. Satin-polished and circular brushed finishes elegantly surround YEMA’s historic crest, which is carefully forged into the case-back with a hydraulic press, ensuring a qualitative and refined finishing.

37.5mm STEP CASE

The 316L stainless steel case is created from a single piece of steel, its shape has a pronounced ridge or ‘step’ around the raised hesalite glass that adds a cool vintage vibe, while the mono-block case architecture contributes to the 10 BAR waterproofness. The 37,5mm case wears larger than expected thanks to its 30mm dial opening and 45mm lug-to-lug.

Designed with a focus on retro-style elegance, the Urban Classic features a 9mm thin case. The alternating brushed-polished case finishes capture the eye and provide refinement and singularity.

YEMA2000 IN-HOUSE CALIBER

The second-generation In-house Caliber YEMA2000 is powered by optimised components yielding slightly better performance than similar Standard Grade calibers, offering a Daily Rate of +/- 10 s/d and a power reserve of 42h.
