Still manufactured in Thiers France, Thiers Issard has been manufacturing fine razors for over 100 years. Today, their razors combine classic craftsmanship with modern design resulting in razors that look as great as they perform.This impressive 7/8 razor features a 135 Carbonsong steel full hollow ground blade with mirror finished blade faces, mirror polished spine and tang, with a detailed etch, square nose and lower jimping. The razor scales are made from attractive blue jean micarta composite. Each Thiers Issard razor includes a high quality soft leather storage sheath, like shown.

In our experience, Thiers Issard razors usually come well honed right from the factory, possibly ready for shaving. As such, we will ship these razors with the factory edge for those clients who would choose to use the factory edge or hone themselves. However, if desired we will happily hone them to our high standards upon request, at no additional charge. If this free service is desired please leave us a note at checkout and allow an extra 2-3 business days before shipment.

Please note: Thiers Issard razors are hand made and honed at the factory and as such may show slighty uneven bevels and light hone wear. This is a result of how they are made an will not affect the great shaving performance of these razors.
